Leadership and Service

Lynnhaven Students Lead with Purpose

At Lynnhaven, students practice leadership and learn through experience. Students will find themselves leading in community that seeks to balance individual freedoms with a responsibility to the group. Students apply for or are elected to various positions which lead vital work at the school. From tending to animals to planning events on campus, students are trusted to lead their school and learn about leadership in the process. Some of the
student leadership positions include: LynxMart Manager, Club Captains, Athletic Team Captains, Student Senate, Student Ambassadors, Student Diversity Leadership Council, and more!

Select students from each organization on campus have the opportunity to be a part of the Student Leadership Council which focuses on developing strong servant leaders of the future! Student leadership at Lynnhaven also extends beyond the formal positions that students fill through various community service activities. Students are expected to engaging the community and serve 100 hours throughout high school.
Lynnhaven School is accredited by the AdvancED Accreditation Commission, Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, NCA Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement, & the Northwest Accreditation Commission. Lynnhaven is also an accredited member of the Virginia Council for Private Education and the National Association of Independent Schools.
