    School starts with Morning Meeting at 8:30. Dismissal starts  at 3:35 pm.

    Lynnhaven School is a 501c3 tax exempt charitable organization.

  • Are you accredited?

    Lynnhaven is fully accredited by Cognia through the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. We are also an accredited member of the National Association of Independent Schools.

  • What type of students attend Lynnhaven?

    Our students have one important thing in common: they did not thrive in traditional school environments. Sitting in rows, absorbing lectures in crowded classrooms, and being expected to learn in just one way didn’t allow them to maximize their potential.

    Our students represent five counties and the City of Richmond. Both public school, private school, and previously homeschooled students make up our student body. This image shows the demographic of our students over the years.

  • Do you accept senior transfers?

    Yes. Lynnhaven accepts applicants through the first day of a students senior year. Mid-year transfers during a student's senior year will be considered on a case by case basis. 

  • Can a student enroll part-time?

    Let's chat. Our school is designed for full-time enrollment, but we can accommodate homeschool students on a case-by-case basis.
