Scholarship Levels
At Lynnhaven, we believe in the transformative power of individuals to create positive change within their communities. Our Community Impact Scholarship program is a reflection of this belief, designed to recognize and nurture students who are not only academically inclined but also actively engaged in making a difference in their communities. We are delighted to offer four distinct scholarship levels, each designed to support and celebrate your unique journey:
While the Navigator, Explorer, and Trailblazer scholarships are not renewable, they represent our commitment to your continuous growth. Each year presents a new opportunity for you to showcase your progress in academics and community service. Recipients of these three (3) scholarships may reapply each year!
We understand that every student is unique, with their own set of achievements, experiences, and dreams. That's why, when it comes to our scholarship program, the strength of your application is key. It's not just about grades or test scores; it's about your story, your dedication, and your impact in the community. When you apply for one of our scholarships, we take a holistic view of your application.
- Navigator Scholarship - $1,000.00: A stepping stone to help you embark on your path of learning and community engagement.
- Explorer Scholarship - $2,000.00: For those who are expanding their horizons and exploring new ways to contribute to their communities.
- Trailblazer Scholarship - $3,500.00: Celebrating students who are leading the way and setting new standards in community service and academic excellence.
- Innovator Scholarship - $5,000.00: Our most prestigious award, recognizing students who are not just thinking about change but making it happen. Unique in its nature, the Innovator Scholarship is renewable. Continue to meet the annual requirements prescribed below, and we'll continue to support your innovative and impactful journey, without the need for reapplication!

Annual Scholarship Recipient Requirements
Being a recipient of a Lynnhaven scholarship is about embracing opportunities for personal growth, leadership, and community involvement. Along with maintaining good standing as per the Lynnhaven code of conduct and continuous academic progress, here are the requirements to maintain the renewable scholarship, but also make you eligible for the non-renewable ones:
- Engaging in Community Service and Leadership Activities: As a valued member of our community, you are expected to participate in at least two (2) service and two (2) leadership activities sponsored by Lynnhaven School each year. These activities provide a platform for you to apply your skills and passions in real-world settings, making a tangible difference in the lives of others. Whether it's through volunteering, leading a club, organizing events, or participating in community projects, these experiences will not only contribute to your personal growth but also reinforce your role as a leader and a changemaker within the Lynnhaven community.
- Continuous Academic Progress: Your academic journey is at the heart of your experience at Lynnhaven. As a scholarship recipient, you are expected to show not just consistent academic achievement but also an active engagement in your learning process. This includes participating in class, pursuing knowledge with curiosity, and embracing the mastery learning approach. Your academic progress is a testament to your dedication to personal and educational excellence
- Mentorship Involvement: Taking on a mentorship role is an integral part of your scholarship experience. By mentoring younger students or your peers, you'll be contributing to a culture of mutual learning and support at Lynnhaven. This involvement is not just about imparting knowledge; it's about building relationships, developing leadership skills, and fostering a sense of community. Through mentorship, you'll be making a lasting impact on others, just as they will on you.

We appreciate scholars who immerse themselves in the vibrant life of Lynnhaven and their local communities. This engagement could be through participating in clubs, sports teams, cultural activities, or local community events. Your involvement demonstrates a dedication to being a part of and contributing to the community around you.
- Leadership in Community Service: Leadership is a cornerstone of the Lynnhaven scholarship. We seek students who have shown initiative in leading community service efforts, whether it's by heading a student organization, spearheading a community project, or mentoring younger students. Your leadership shows your ability to inspire and mobilize others towards a common goal, a quality we highly value.
